Charlotte’s Pedal Tractor

I had the best surprise from Karen and Kevin!  From the time we found out Miss Charlotte was on the way, I wanted her a pink tractor, one that she could ride around in and take to shows/events.  I never in a million years thought I’d ever see such a beautiful tractor!  Kevin put a lot of love transforming the top picture into the beautiful one of a kind that we now have waiting for her!  I was so surprised, I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am for Charlotte!!  Thank you so much, Kevin and Karen!!!

We took the tractor to Murray’s Mill per Mason’s request! He is so proud to have it for Charlotte, it melts my heart!

Daddy and Mason were checking it out and talking about all of the parts!  Mason says he is ready to teach her how to ride it!

Showered with love!

Over the weekend, our families hosted the most beautiful baby showers for Jordan and I.  We’ve been overwhelmed with all of the love and support through out this journey and it was evident  again at the showers just how loved Charlotte is!

Thank you to everyone who helped host each of them, we are so very appreciative!

My brother, sister-in-law, and nephew were able to come in for the weekend and be part of the fun!  My brother is the best and Mason absolutely adores him! My heart melts seeing how much Mason loves him! Not only does Mason look like him, but his personality, little facial expressions, mannerisms, etc is 100% my brother!  I can’t wait until Charlotte is able to meet Uncle Bubs!

Getting ready for Miss. Charlotte!

I’ve had many people ask what we’ve been doing to get ready for Charlotte so I thought I’d share what we’ve been up to!

Jordan and I decided to not use a nursery “theme” but rather colors and varying patterns. Her nursery is very shabby chic and classy using grey and white with pink accents. I like the simplicity of the neutral colors with the pop of pink throughout the room. Jordan has been working on getting the crib ready and put together and it’ll soon be ready for her bedding to go in. Sarah and I made framed quotes that are now hanging above her crib. Kasey helped me make burp cloths; I had only seen these burp cloths at showers and couldn’t ever find them in the store so I bought the material and supplies and Kasey sewed them right up!  A bland, plain burp cloth has been transformed into a feminine, soft, colorful one! Kevin and Karen bought the most beautiful “Charlotte” sigh that is being painted to hang on the wall; I went back and forth on what color but we decided to paint it grey so it would match the rest of the room, it is a statement piece for sure and I absolutely love it!  All of the furniture is in place and just ready to be filled with sweet little things that will make it her nursery!

ready

Mason has been practicing holding Charlotte-Bear, a bear that he’s had in his room since we moved in. It’s a special bear and now even more special. He’s very excited about her arrival and is working hard at practicing being a big brother and big helper!

Charlotte will never lack for clothing; she has a closet full.  We’ve been very blessed with hand-me-downs and bargain finds at consignment sales/stores.  My Mom once said that I came home from the hospital with 16 pairs of shoes already and Charlotte is quickly approaching that number. She will be very stylish and be one well dressed little lady.

Jordan and I went to register recently and had the best time!  Some of this is completely new to Jordan and in the past 4 years, a lot has changed in the baby product industry it seems. We took our time, read about all the different products and made a date night out of registering!  We chose Target and Babies-R-Us based on what we need and those being the closest stores to us.

Best moment this week ?

Getting to see Charlotte at our 3d/4d ultrasound. What a blessing she is! Not only to her family, but to me as well!

Food cravings?

Anything Kathryn feeds me! Haha 🙂

Food aversions?

The past couple weeks, the thought of eating a scrambled egg on a plate grosses me out. I’ll eat one on a sandwich, not plain!

Gender?

GIRL! GIRL! GIRL!! Charlotte Olivia Isenhour!

Labor signs?

So far just the Braxton Hicks! A lot of them daily!

Pregnancy symptoms?

Besides being tired, I sweat and I’m waddling. I need some cool weather….STAT!

What am I looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to my belly growing bigger as Charlotte gets bigger herself. It’s well on it’s why, why not love and enjoy the time?

Milestones?

10…..10!!!!!! Weeks to go!!!! 🙂 we could not be any more excited! Seeing her room come together and now we are counting down the weeks, wow! It’s amazing to think how far we have came. Humbling experience I will forever hold close to my heart!

So Charlotte is an active little girl! Loves her thumb and toes in her face! And her smile will melt you!

She is about 3 pounds now and just a tad short of 16 inches. Her eyesight is continuing to develop, but will respond to some light. During her big debut today, we got to see her open her eyes! And she has eyelashes! (Long and beautiful like her mom’s). What a little cutie she is!

30weeks

Sweet Charlotte in 3D/4D

We had our 3D/4D ultrasound this morning and we were all able to see Charlotte!  She was so happy and even gave us several smiles! She loves having her hand up at her mouth, keeps her feet up at her head, and loves to snuggle up next to the placenta.  She is absolutely beautiful and we can’t wait to see her and love on her in just a few weeks!  Jordan and I are so excited to have her here; it’s hard to put into words how much we’re looking forward to the day she’s born!

Before the scan!
